What is the impact in Vermont?

While Tropical Storm Henri has throttled some northeastern U.S. states, Vermont was likely to see little impact from the weather event Monday, the National Weather Service in Burlington said.

As of early Monday morning, expected rainfall totals had lowered for the entire state. Most of the tropical storm’s remnants were expected to impact areas south of the Green Mountain State, the service said in a Twitter post.

Southern Vermont was expected to get the most rain in the state Monday afternoon, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, according to the Twitter post. Most of the state was expected to get less than an inch of rainfall, with some spots of southern Vermont forecast to get up to 2 inches.
