Friday is bringing several weather alerts and advisories around the state as a system moves across Florida with heavy rain, gusty winds and strong thunderstorms.

After it passes through, many areas around the state will see slightly cooler temperatures into the weekend.

Thunderstorms may bring the threat of damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes to the Florida Panhandle through tonight, according to AccuWeather.

Residents could see severe weather from early morning into the afternoon hours. Damaging winds could gust up to the AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 70 mph.
