Thunderstorm warning ends, flood advisory remains

The National Weather Service’s severe thunderstorm warning for much of southwest Ohio has expired, but a flood advisory remains in place in multiple areas including Northern Kentucky.

Thunderstorms rolled across the region Friday evening. There are 15,000 customers without power in Hamilton and Bulter Counties and spots in Northern Kentucky, according to the Duke Energy outage map.

The flood advisory is in effect until  9:15 p.m. according to the NWS.

In Northern Kentucky, all of Campbell and Kenton counties, northern Boone County, and northern Pendleton County are under a flood advisory.

In Ohio, southeastern Hamilton County and southwestern Clermont County are covered by the advisory.

Between 1 to 2 inches of rain had fallen by 6:11 p.m. An additional one inch of rain is possible.
