The Bureau of Meteorology has issued an initial minor flood warning for the Kingdon Ponds in Scone on Wednesday, December 8.

The Bureau said moderate to heavy rainfall has caused significant river level rises along the Kingdon Ponds at Parkville.

The Bureau said minor flooding may occur in Scone as river levels may peak near the minor flood level of 3.20m on Wednesday morning.

Flood Safety Advice:

  • Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
  • Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.
