ATLANTA — The rain continues Wednesday afternoon as rounds, heavy at times, push through the area. We have a flash flood watch in effect until early Thursday morning and some parts of Georgia are now in a flood warning.
There will be a few embedded thunderstorms, and an isolated strong to severe storm is possible. Flooding will be the main threat with the ground already saturated. Gusty winds could accompany a few of the storms.
1:30 p.m. | A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Putnam, Morgan co. until 7:30 p.m. today.
1:25 p.m. | A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Upson, Taylor, Pike, Crawford and Lamar counties until 6:15 p.m. today.
1 p.m. | Storm Prediction Center increases the severe weather threat to a level 2 risk in NW Georgia.
