40mm of rain has fallen in the Werribee catchment, with a minor flood warning still present for the Werribee River
Werribee River to Melton Reservoir:
The level of the Werribee River at Ballan peaked at 1.45 metres, above the Minor Flood Level (1.20 metres). If rainfall occurs as forecast, water level in the river could rise again to a second peak Sunday.
Minor flooding in the Werribee River catchment is expected to affect low-lying areas adjacent to the waterway.
The SES is reminding us to never walk, ride or drive through floodwaters, keep clear of fallen power lines and stay well away from storm-water drains during and after heavy rain
