Target Area: DeWitt; Karnes; Lavaca FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR DEWITT, KARNES AND LAVACA COUNTIES At 1047 AM CDT, Gauge reports indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain in the area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Gauges reported. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
